Internal Audit

Linde has introduced a risk management system in the entire group, the so-called Major Hazards Review Programme (MHRP).

Risks that our plants might pose to employees and companies or people in the vicinity must be systematically identified and evaluated. Our management system, the MHRP, aims to

  • identify the maximum potential hazards and manage them effectively
  • measure risks and introduce controls that minimise these risks as far as possible
Monitoring the maximum potential hazards encompasses all key aspects of occupational health and safety. As a minimum requirement under the MHRP, all Linde locations that store or process hazardous substances (including pipeline transport) must possess a valid licence awarded following an internal audit. There are three categories of licences with category 1 representing the greatest hazard potential.
